El disturbio atmosférico ubicado al oeste del Mar Caribe ha ganado intensidad en las últimas horas y ha aumentado el potencial de convertirse en la Tormenta Tropical Vince: el sistema lleva trayectoria hacia Jamaica y el este de Cuba, pero su amplio campo nuboso incidirá en Haití y República Dominicana con fuertes precipitaciones en las próximas 24 horas.

Este viernes aumentarán las lluvias desde la madrugada y primeras horas de la mañana hacia la Cordillera Central, suroeste, zona fronteriza, sur y sureste; con una extensión de los aguaceros hacia el resto del país.

El potencial de inundaciones aumentará desde el mediodía del viernes y se extenderá hasta el lunes, con crecida de ríos y cañadas.

Currently’s new weather service is now live. In the weeks and months ahead, we’ll be continually adding more features and opening up more slots as we develop the service.

But for now, space is limited in the weather service because I want to make sure we can provide the highest quality service we possibly can while we work to refine the system with your input.

Our goal — as always — is to co-create the most personalized, most informative weather service that exists. And, above all, to make this service accessible, equitable, and resilient enough to bring safety and joy to the climate emergency.
